The Colour Project were commissioned to design and deliver the technical and production infrastructure for the Blinc Digital Arts Festival 2015 in the medieval town of Conwy, North Wales. The digital festival, one of the largest in Europe, illuminated some of Conwy’s most historic buildings with work on the theme of Art in The Mind.
This creative exploration and response by artists into the experience of those living with dementia in Wales was mapped and projected onto four historic sites around the Town
The Colour Project provided the media servers and projection expertise to deliver the event onto Conwy Castle, Plas Mawr, The Old Chapel on Church Street and onto 3 x 10ft inflatable domes in the Rosehill Street Station that combined video projection mapping, live poetry, live music and large scale sculptural installation.
